Baes Fried Chicken - Jennings Lodge

This was a pickle experience. Fries pickle battered. Chicken pickle battered. Side of ranch pickle juice mixed In the ranch. And to top it all off.... you guessed it pickles. I hate pickles I know other people like them a lot. Just be warned every piece of food I put in my mouth tasted like salt vinegar and dill. If you are a pickle fiend absolutely this slaps! If not don't get it.

Ordered exclusive chicken and waffles, but received a different item instead. Called restaurant who stated they don 't offer that item…. Not sure why it 's available to order then. 7 months pregnant and very disappointed. Do not recommend.

I used to love this place Soo much and recommend it to everyone. After COVID hit the prices skyrocketed which was expected but the quality went down at this location. I bought my usual and it's usually spicy but good spicy ? today it was just red and zero spice just salty. The fries tasted like old oil and mashed potatoes were decent. I love to get the lemonade slush as well that's my favorite! Today was a disappointment from this location I really do hope not all locations changed the spice level and quality, some of us Oregonians love spice please don't tone that down...

Straight up hands down some of the best fried chicken I've had that wasn't in the south. The peach sauce was also a religious experience.

I like a lot of things about Baes. Would love to give them a higher rating, but every time I have been the waffle fries are a soggy pile of soft potatoes. At first I blamed it on ordering to go, but the last order was eaten as soon as it was ready. Every thing was good, but I couldn't enjoy a single fry. Y'all are so close to being great, just need a couple tweaks.
