Kashiwagi - Jennings Lodge

I went there for NYE because I couldn’t visit my family in Japan for the new year’s. Their food is so so good and the price is more reasonable than all the other Japanese restaurants in Portland!

Mom and pop sushi joint with chef Kashiwagi! The sushi piece was fresh and huge. Enjoyed the chirashi bowl too. The place is small and old and could be renovated.

Simple and no frills, delicious menu with a hole in the wall feel! Definitely hits the spot for a yummy sushi meal with very reasonable pricing (especially given current inflation)

Quick, fresh and tasty sushi! Thick cuts. Fair price. My kind of place.

Get the Crispy Chicken Szechuan for an actual authentic experience complete with the pepper high (and sweats). Sushi pretty good too, but coming back for apparently one of the only good Chinese spots around this town.
