Buon Appetito - Jersey City

Don't be fooled by the outside The food was excellent! The servers were as well! We will definitely be going there again! Our waitress gave us a tour of the place. Very impressive!

I'd give it 4.5 out of 5 stars. I would certainly recommend Buon Appetito to any fan of Italian. The service was attentive and helpful, the bread was soft and tasty, the main courses were well timed and delicious, and the dessert tasted good but slightly over cooked.

Doesn't taste like real Italian foodThe food is tasteless and bland. No flavor, no salt, no seasoning no nothing.The mozzarella sticks are okay. The breading is too thick and the dipping marinara sauce is blandAlfredo penne pasta tasted like pasta with a sauce that came out of a jar.The eggplant Parmesan was a real disappointment. The eggplant was seasonless, soggy and tasted like breaded mush. The spaghetti and marinara was blandI do not encourage that you get food here if you enjoy authentic Italian or seasoned food. Such a disappointment!

We have been ordering delivery one day a week for at least 6 months now. Their food is consistently very good. Delivers on time always in 45 mins or less. Their grilled and breaded chicken are both absolutely stellar. Always tender and sliced perfectly. Their rigatoni pasta is very good with red sauce and vodka sauce. Their chicken Caesar salad is also very good.

Pretty good food, pizza is better than Helens and Stella. Just my opinion.Food: 3/5
