The one and only downtown chicken spot of Jersey. The food is good and the people are very nice. I have eaten here more than 100 time and have never had a bad meal. They give me just what I want and they never get the order wrong. I have paid three time the price in other places in the area and they do not come close. They drop the chicken in the fryer ever 20 minutes in small batches to keep it fresh. Gyro, burgers, fries, chicken, and hello salad lovers they have that also. You can ask for any combo of food. They have 2 litter sodas and uber eats delivery. I support family owed business if I can above all and this is one. The sweet potato pie, fried apple pie, and banana pudding should not missed because they are small , cheap and tasty.

Here’s my take on the sides: the mashed potatoes and gravy had an overpowering beef flavor that wasn't quite right. The biscuits were tasty but a bit too tough for my liking. As for the coleslaw, it just didn’t taste good, and there was way too much dressing. I will definitely return, but only for the chicken.

The fried chicken here is absolutely delicious and really satisfies! It's incredibly crispy while still offering plenty of meat. A perfect choice for a takeout meal!
