The food was great, the nothing compared to the service. Our server Austin was friendly and so sweet, he went above and beyond and made me feel so welcome.
Cool place with an extensive menu, wish we had one in San Antonio!! Tried this place out since it was open late and in the same parking lot as my hotel. Good service and lots to choose from if you're with a group.
My buddy and I were famished for lunch after running our errands. I had been to The Lazy Dog in Concord, CA, and my buddy had not tried it yet. The ambiance is open, airy, and kind of modern lodge in appearance. Huge covered patio for customers who bring their dogs . Service is quick and very attentive. The menu is very extensive, worthy of an evening return to try the larger entrees. My buddy saw BISON Burger and a side order of onion rings, and he was sold. He scarfed his down! He absolutely loves bison and he said it was some of the best he has had.I ordered the All American Burger 2 (1/4lb burgers layered with cheese, lettuce, thinly sliced red onions, tomatoes, pickles, and bark bite sauce. The sauce, according to our server, was like a very spicy thousand island sauce. I got that on the side just in case. My Burger came with some phenomenal fries. Hard to describe...super crispy exterior with like a glazed seasoning on them, and very tender inside. Major YUM lunch. My order was HUGE, and I 'm a petite lady who just had 3 major surgeries and lost half of my digestive insides, so I had to take half of my lunch home, which I ate later for supper. (I reheated my burger wrapped in parchment and my fries in my Toaster oven, and they were just like at lunch. We both have very long hair so ponytails were necessary to not get in the way of our eating. I highly recommend you give The Lazy Dog a try!
I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally made it happen today! Great service, cool atmosphere, delicious food and priced lower than I expected. They have sweet tea and it’s goooood! We started with the crispy deviled eggs. They actual fry the outer egg, add the yellow with paprika and top it with their bacon candy. Great spin on regular deviled eggs and that bacon candy is amazing! They have a starter of just bacon candy, but I was concerned that would be too much. I’m glad we settled on the deviled eggs. It was a little taste of both options we wanted in one. They are served 4 to a plate, so it’s perfect for sharing with another person. For my lunch I had the Dirty Dog. It’s a Nathan’s hotdog wrapped in bacon, topped with blue cheese dressing (I substituted ranch since I don’t care much for blue cheese , a drizzle of buffalo sauce and waffle style potato chips. The bun was perfectly toasted. The whole thing was terrific! The bacon is regular bacon, not their bacon candy. It was so good! It was served with French fried and a side of coleslaw. They have different flavors of coleslaw. I chose the Thai version. Fries were great and the slaw was tasty too. My friend had the tortilla soup loaded with chicken, yummy cheese and parmesan bread crisp things on the side. I tried a piece and loved it! For her meal, she got the chicken salad sandwich with fries. She loved hers too. Their lunch specials are under $10 and they don’t skimp on the size. We were very impressed. Andres was our server. He took wonderful care of us. The restaurant has lots of TVs for viewing sports (GO ASTROS! , they have a large patio with a cool bonfire style pit I want to check out when it’s cold outside and they are dog friendly, so next time I’ll bring my pup. Highly recommend. They have lots of items on their menu, so there’s something for everyone.
