Atmosphere: Sure, it has a 'vibe. ' Very rich hippy esque. It has the potential to be really something special. However, when you walk in, there 's no clear direction where to go or what to do. When you find the seating area and seat yourself at the only empty table without dirty dishes, they tell you to move to a dirty table unless you 're going to fill the spot. Maybe you 'll get a stained menu with food particles on it if you 're lucky. It took many countable minutes until the table I moved to was semi clean. For a place that looks like it should be cozy, it 's really just a disheveled noisy bunch of used furniture thrown together. Food: So I 've been in this place three times. My kid 's school is right down the street. The food is not bad I 've had gluten free quiche, macarons, and coffee over the span of the two visits where I actually bought something . This may be a decent option for delivery or take away. Look, the first time I came here with the intention of sitting for a couple of hours for a meeting which would 've meant food and drinks as well and did end up being the case for another local cafe , I took a look around and walked out with the impression that this place is full of itself. The second time, I came to buy because we had not eaten all day and needed something anything to eat. Ended up spending around 150₪ for what I pay half that in Tel Aviv! The third time I actually sat down with the intention of conducting a meeting there ... Experience referenced above. After about 20 minutes at the cafe, I messaged my colleagues and told them to meet me at the other place, since the service and lack of cleanliness was unacceptable for our meeting. Upon receiving the receipt, I Celiac noticed that the coffee with soy milk that I ordered was placed as a coffee with oat milk gluten . So after telling the cashier, the owner ? grumbled something and then said fine don 't charge her for it. So ... ? Will not give this place a fourth try, as the third time was not a charm.
Unsuspecting gem. Quaint and lovely. Somewhat unimaginative menu but plentiful and good food. Great spot for gifts.
A treasure ... a neighborhood cafe with delicious food, friendly staff, and an eclectic well curated selection of housewares, tchotkes, and gourmet foods to take home. All the food we saw looked excellent ... we were particularly impressed by the small but excellent selection of vegan dishes. Many cafés think they 've covered their vegan customers with Oh, no problem, you can have a salad and we 'll leave off the cheese . In contrast, Zariffa has taken the time to offer vegan dishes created from scratch ... they 're really good vegan meals, rather than compromised dairy ones. We shared a toasted sandwich and a mushroom quiche ... both were excellent ... followed by individual pies for dessert, one chocolate and the other apple with a crumble topping. Again, both outstanding. We highly recommend Zariffa ... very glad to have found it. I should point out that several of the dishes are bought in, not made from scratch in the cafe 's tiny kitchen. This might be a weakness in some instances, but Zariffa are bringing in excellent quality quiches, pies, pastas, etc. They 're definitely not compromising on quality.
Delightful outdoor setting! Excellent shakshuka. Service great! Cappuccino very good (hazak)!
