Baladin Jesolo La Guinguette

Spent an evening there for dinner with to small kids who got little presents from the owner who was very friendly. The location is nice and sitting outside is very cosy with a lot of pillows available. We ordered burgers and toast and were asked by the waiter if we wanted ketchup and mayo, which is common for those meals, so we said of course. The meals came fast and even kids portions were big and everything tasted very good. But to our surprise each meal had multiple bowls of ketchup and mayo. So finally we were billed 6 additional portions of it which wasn`t our intention and a big let down to our whole experience there.

I came across this spot just by looking around the area we stayed at (Jesolo Mare Family Village). It looked very inviting and the menu seemed family friendly. I ordered a smoked salmon salad this was definitely underwhelming as the salmon was straight out of package and most of the food in the plate was just plain salad. No sauce no nothing, so very sad and disappointing. My partner chose some bbq ribs which came out chewy and dry, he sent them back and got new ones that tasted much better though after the visit he had terrible stomach aches during the night.. For our 3 year old we ordered the milanese style cutlet with fries which cost 11euros and was straight out of freezer for sure.. such poor quality. My partner also ordered an old fashioned which is made with bourbon. When asked the staff about what bourbon they are using, they said Jack Daniel’s Gosh… The best part of it all was that they counted in the cheque both ribs and also the extra sauce for the ribs we asked because it was too dry.. so we needed to spend time and energy to solve that issue. The bartender was nice and took the critique quite well, was willing to try something else and learn. Other than that.. terrible quality food and overpriced. Oh and the beer was delicious that’s why I didn’t put only 1 star

Nice and helpful waiters, good hamburgers, great beers (21 draft beers! , cute interiors, nice atmosphere. you don't even have to look for parking, since there's plenty of room around (not really the same in Jesolo city center

We like craft beer and we like baladin beer. but in any case when we come to drink and eat here it is always beautiful. nice and fun people. nice local, eclectic and just to improve the holidays. highly recommended.
