Dairy Queen - John Day

On a very hot summer's day, this DQ provided much needed relief in the form of cold ice cream! The staff was friendly and efficient, and the property looked clean and well-tended.

My fiance and I love going to Dairy Queen in general but this one is special to us as Grant County is special to us. The last time we got food to go we ordered it from the app and it took us a lot longer to get there than anticipated. The staff had heldoff in making our blizzards until we got there to pick up the order. It was insanely hot out and that was a very thoughtfulthing to do. We visit frequently and have always had a pleasant experience without any order blunders.

Was at the drive-through right at opening, waited 5 min till someone responded, which wasn't a big deal. But then they proceeded to tell me that the fryer wasn't on yet and that a burger would take another 5 to 10 min before they could even START cooking as they didn't have the meat ready.... I'd say u need some new employees if they can't be ready to serve food by 11am or change your opening time to 11:30 if 11 is just too early for them, smh. As other reviews have stated, the service is slow other times too, between that and the prices, I might as well go to a regular restaurant in town and eat instead

This was the worst DQ experience I've had. The burger was lousy and extremely overpriced. For a small icecream a burger and fries I spent $21. The burger meat was low quality. It was easy to see why I was the only one there. Glad its not the only burger in town. It is the most expensive burger in town.

Driving through the service was quite fast. The food was hot and the burgers were a little more creepy than I prefer... but they were deliciously chaotic at the same time. Very delicious.
