Írjon visszajelzéstThis restaurant is possibly one of the best breweries in Tennessee. It has several unique features, such as the large second-floor windows and creatively designed tables. The food is excellent, especially for fans of stir fry. My only wish is that they would stay open later, at least until 1am on weekends, for the drinks alone.
After reading all the reviews, I was very excited to try this restaurant for lunch on Saturday. However, I was disappointed by the quality and taste of the food. They mixed up the way we ordered our burgers, resulting in one being overcooked and the other being undercooked. I brought this to their attention, but we still only ate it. In my opinion, the burgers were just average. The black rice was dry, but the hummus was a tasty appetizer. Overall, it was not a terrible experience, but I had higher expectations.
While traveling from Richmond, VA to Birmingham, AL, my partner and I decided to spend the night in Johnson City. After searching on TripAdvisor for local restaurants, we came across Label. We arrived around 8 o'clock, but the earliest reservation we could get was at 9:30. I ordered the 16oz 40 day dry aged prime ribeye cooked medium, with corn, maple glazed Brussels sprouts, and a side salad. My partner opted for the American Kobe beef burger cooked medium, topped with ghost pepper mozzarella and served with garlic parmesan fries. Unfortunately, there was a mistake in the kitchen and our meats were cooked differently than we had originally ordered. It was already 10 o'clock by then. The server was very apologetic and the manager offered to "make it right." Shortly afterwards, we were served with new, perfectly cooked meals and our appetites were satisfied. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere and the staff were all friendly. Despite the delay, the meal was definitely worth the wait!
Love the unique flavor combinations offered. The Privilege and the Drunken Goat were both cooked as requested and didn't disappoint as to flavor. Upgraded the standard fries to Garlic Parmesan fries and Sweet Potato waffle fries glad we did! Next time we pass through Johnson City we'll be a repeat customer!
Can there be a burger that’s worth over $15?! YES. Choices like Kobe beef and ground tenderloin make burgers with the flavor of fine steaks. The wait staff is friendly, fast, and hardworking. The atmosphere is fun and funky. Wednesday is sushi on sale day. Nice bourbon selection too.
