The Willow Tree Coffeehouse Music Room

This is an excellent spot. It's the ideal place to enjoy delicious coffee while reading or writing—very relaxing. They also have an amazing music room that features outstanding performances. The Willow Tree offers a fantastic atmosphere filled with wonderful people. I absolutely love this place!

This is an excellent spot to unwind. The staff is consistently fantastic, creating a welcoming environment free from judgment. Today, due to some nerve issues in my hands, I was shaky when I went to grab my green tea. An employee kindly offered to carry it for me or transfer it to a to-go cup so I wouldn’t risk burning myself. This really impressed me; their willingness to assist without any judgment speaks volumes about their service.

I visited this venue for the first time for the Dom Flemons and Amythyst Kiah show, and I had a fantastic experience! It's a great spot—intimate and welcoming while still being spacious enough for a decent-sized crowd. The coffee was excellent, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. It's a wonderful place, and I can't wait to attend more events there in the future!

Open mic night is always fun, the Apple chai latte is amazing and the quiche is the best!! Great atmosphere and fun staff!!

Dropped in for Wednesday's Open Mic Night last night. It's always a surprisingly talented mix of regulars and new comers who take the stage. This place has an amazingly cool vibe and a veteran staff who seem to remember what beers and or coffee drinks each of the regulars likes! They are a very diverse venue and host an array of mostly local and regional bands along with various community activities. Whether you need to duck in for a quick coffee or camp out for a while with your lap top or a favorite novel, this place will definitely fit your plan. They also have a used book shop in the back and they also display and sell the works of various local artists, so each time I visit, it's a slightly different experience than before. The Mother Daughter team that owns and operates the shop has definitely done a fantastic job giving Johnson City the best coffee shop in town!
