Red Ginger - Johnston

Ordered takeout last night, gluten free general tso chicken and gluten free pork fried rice, with another non gluten free meal (orange chicken) and crab rangoon. Everything tasted good and is reasonably priced. The gluten free pork fried rice and gluten free general tso chicken was for someone with celiac who is highly sensitive to any contamination and they enjoyed the meal and had no issues whatsoever! They even included gluten free soy sauce in the bag that was used on the gf rice since it doesn’t have soy sauce on it. Will definitely order from Red Ginger again Dietary restrictions: Gluten free

Over the last 4 years the food here has gone down the drain. We use to enjoy their wonton soup, but the last time we got it, it was awful...the broth tasted like dish water and all that was in it was boiled wontons and 3 teeny tiny slivers of pork. ...The broccoli and chicken...chicken was tasteless and rubbery and the eggs roll had zero taste with just cabbage in it...Cheap. We won't be eating there any more.

The food seems to be about the average for American Chinese food in Rhode Island. It's not my favorite, but the restaurant itself is homey and comfortable and has a nice atmosphere.

It's always a joy visiting. The food is delicious, hot, and served with a smile. Very generous portions, reasonable prices. Great conversation. A nice place to gather!

Not sure what's going on but the food has completely changed in looks and taste.. Not ordering from here ever again!
