La Mex - Joliet

We came yesterday, it was great! we talk and drink, drink, drink! our server was amazing, always friendly and smiling. if they are good, they get a good tip as they. thank you for everything more waitresses like them. see the ticket and additional money also! amazing service!

My friend and I traveled to joliet, illinois to shop and make other funny things. we stopped at the la mex for dinner and it was delicious! the waitress we had was very nice and our dinner was quickly brought out. I had two frozen strawberry daiquiris and they were amazing! recommend this great Mexican restaurant!

I visited la mex for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! we sat on the outside terrace where there was live music. they played a song of coco that was really sweet, and most of the music was gentle melow mariachi style music that really set the mood. the ambiente was perfect for a late summer night. I ordered the brides and my partner ordered the tacos. the plates look small, but they are this. the frogs had an amazing crunch, very obviously made fresh, and each taste was unique and just as delicious as the last. it was all vegan, beautifully seasoned, and had unique and interesting aromas. I have a HIGH heat tolerance and I was not drilled through the spicy mirror (my ideal warmth is habanero, so they keep that in mind when they are more sensitive to spicy.) delicious eating, great waiting staff and great ambiente!

This is a great place to celebrate every special occasion. the outside terrace with fireplace is a nice opportunity to enjoy the few summer days in the middle west. the interieur is like a hacienda furnished and is very simple, almost any size party, the art and wise as the dining room is cut off. the bar is beautiful and wears a very large selection of tequilas and a beautiful selection of beer. when they go on Sunday, they use the half of the margaritas, they are delicious. the atmosphere is relaxed and relaxed. the service is phenomenal, the personal makes a phenomenal job, keep her glasses water full and her table clean. eating is above average and a little more on the Tex sex page. the sections are easy on the small side, but they do a good task to spread them on the plate to give it the look of the great part. I have to come to an evening meal and a drink at a day where the Mariachi band plays. the last thing I want to point out is the credit card fee. I can't believe they don't even mention it. they try to force the customer to pay money.

Get the Chili Rellenos. Best I've ever had. Those are difficult to make and most places just can't. A ! House Margaritas ARE STRONG. $10) Service was extremely fast. The pre dinner nachos are so-so. Tacos were bland n so were the chicken enchiladas. Restaurant is VERY dark. Will return. No customer masks...yes!
