Always great movies, always great atmosphere, always something fun to do, the best staff and beneficial to the community. Can't say enough great things about Bookhouse

Nice place to enjoy a good chat the place is very small but cozy and you can also enjoy a movie, they only have a few seats but that makes it more intimate and a very comfortable place.

Bookhouse is a wonderful showcase of Joplin’s local community with a very welcoming environment, a delicious menu with some unique offerings to the area, and some of the most hospitable and friendly staff you will ever have the pleasure of interacting with. The film selections are always exciting and varied, so anyone with a desire to see a great film will always feel welcome here. Put Bookhouse at the top of your list for places to visit in the area!!

It was a great place to be. I loved the small theatre but the speakers needed to play voices in the back too.

Cozy and safe place for food, coffee, movies or just sitting and reading a book. Check their website for events/movies. (Lots of vegan options).
