Nickel Beer Company - Julian

I wish I could visit this place more frequently. The beers are fantastic, and the atmosphere is wonderful. I enjoyed a few beers while sitting outside, only able to hear the sounds of nature around me. It was truly relaxing.

Great variety of beers, dog-friendly atmosphere, games for kids of all ages, outdoor seating with shade, and friendly staff. I would definitely come back!

During our day trip to Julian, we discovered Nickel Brewery and decided to sample some local brews. They offered a nice variety of beers brewed on-site. We tried six different options: Storage, Jalapeño Gold, Stout, Apple Cake, and Blood Orange IPA. My top picks were the Sea Camp, Amber Lager, and Stout. The Stout was rich with a coffee undertone, the Sea Camp was light and fruity, and the Amber Lager was crisp and delicious. We sat outside, soaking up the sun on a chilly, breezy day. The service was quick and friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic find!

Love it! Large IPA and craft beers, and a beautiful grid covered terrace with picnic tables. Bring something to eat or not. You also have chips and ribs crackers with beer cheese. And Pups are welcome as long as they behave! Upstairs of Julian, so usually a small but friendly amount of weekends, nothing like the crazy in Julian.

If you need a break from the large crowds in downtown Julian, this is a perfect spot to take a break at. It's a small, but homey brewery and everyone there is always so nice every time I visit. Good, unique selection of beers too.
