The Craypot Kitchen Kaikoura

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The seafood salad was fantastic, featuring a generous serving of prawns, mussels, cod, and fish cakes, along with a touch of smoked salmon and a lovely mix of greens and shredded carrots. They offer a great selection of craft beers, including a number of options on tap, as well as a tasty cider available on draft. The ambiance was inviting, and the seating was quite comfortable. The music was at just the right volume, and the service was both friendly and prompt. I'm definitely looking forward to returning!

Delicious fish and chips paired with refreshing cold draft beer! The service was friendly, and we would definitely come back.

In my opinion, the secret to really good fish and chips is in the batter and this place nailed it! Absolutely great fish and chips served with a truly delicious garden salad. Will remember this place in future!

The prices here were twice the fancy hotel restaurants and the plates don't show it. Order at the counter, wonderful selection of brews and vie for one of three tables on the sidewalk. PS if you do get one of the outside tables, bus your plates inside when your done or leave your fellow diners to fight off the winged rats!

Great place to dine at on a nice day in Kaikoura. It is conveniently located in the center of town with lovely staff and lovely food to boot. Enjoyed my time there!
