Hico Hawaiian Coffee - Kailua-Kona

I tried HiCO multiple times on our trip, and the drinks were just okay. Breakfast sammies were good, but the coffee wasn't that special, and not really the best I've had on Kona. The setting (both locations) was awesome, the people were nice but it's just average coffee at a higher price.

I absolutely love this coffee shop. We came everyday of our stay in Kona. The baristas are so kind, the atmosphere is amazzzing, good music really aesthetically pleasing to either chill or work on your laptop. Try the superfood cocoa latte, it’s delish. They also have REALLY nice merch! I wish we had one of these on Oahu!

Had coffee here twice, once for ised drinks in the afternoon, once for hot coffee in the morning. Nice little spot, and great people watching.

We had the monthly special coffee grind drip coffee, matcha latte, Ube sweet dreams cold brew, Lily's special. All very delicious. We also purchased whole roasted beans.

Had read reviews and wanted to weigh in— Tried both the Ube latte and the ube foam cold brew, Cold brew latte imo! The latte ube latte just doesn’t have as strong an ube flavor which is what I’m in it for :)Really nice ambiance in this cafe, half inside/outside with fans and shaded with plants all around. It does get VERY busy on weekends but staff keeps the line moving as fast as possible (though the line literally wrapped around the building as I was leaving, Saturday morning at about 9am). Cashiers and baristas are very friendly as well, wonderful service.
