Kopelani Inc - Kailua-Kona

I stumbled upon this place while walking down the street, and I've ended up coming here every night during my stay in Kona. It's an absolute must-visit! I've indulged in their Kona coffee-based ice cream for the past two nights and tried the Kealakua Crunch, Kona Road, and Mud Pie — all of them are delicious! My favorite has to be the Kona Road. I can't wait to go back today to try the Kona Joy and toasted coconut flavors. There are just too many mouthwatering options that you’ll definitely want to visit more than once, so be prepared for that! The cashier was incredibly friendly and personable. I popped in right before closing on Monday at 9 PM when it was quiet, but on Tuesday night around 8 PM, it was quite busy, with no available seats at the outdoor tables and a line of at least five people.

The ice cream was fresh and delightful. The mango passion fruit flavor was tasty, but the salted caramel affogato stole the show! Enjoying smooth espresso alongside the cold ice cream while people-watching outside was absolutely perfect.

The staff here are fantastic, and we were delighted with several samples from their great selection. The espresso is truly exceptional. Plus, the lanai offers a cozy atmosphere to relax and enjoy your coffee and ice cream. This place is definitely worth a visit!
