Sam Choy's Kai Lanai - Kailua-Kona

A restaurant that is very well kept with a menu, although somewhat limited, but what was on it was very good. it also has a killer view and a waiter under the name others who made the experience excellent! I would recommend this as a place to eat, drink and enjoy.

Friendly staff, great drinks, great visibility and solid happy hour snacks. it blows me away, how many of these cripples for this place shy their servier style. are they open, on the same time, when they treat the waitress with the respect they deserve, they will be happy to help them. the spring rolls with Korean Bbq sauce were delicious, the calamari was in a form I never experienced and had a wonderful soak to accompany them. that was great. we spent our visit to observe various shipping along the coast.

The food was good and the customer service was very friendly. Ordering food inside and picking up food from kitchen window didn't match the vibe of the place, but it seemed this was how they were trying to limit exposure in response to COVID. I get it. I will definitely eat there again. Amazing views!

Loves the sunset and happy hour in this restaurant, which has both a great view as well as a firetic. we also stayed twice for lunch and also perfect for this daytime. that had a cooler mood and our selection at places without waiting. eating is very affordable and very tasty. a negatiw has to eat on paper plates with plastic utensils. but they can't beat the prospect and the price. I also like the wonderful art on the walls.

Sam Choy’s has a magnificent scenic view of the sea and the sunset, the highlight of this restaurant. beautiful kamin tables and torches on the lanai. eating was good; I have ripened the Hawaiian style and tried the egg rolls and they were pretty good. the sauces were a bit sweet/unbalanced, but still very pleasant. everyone in my party had high praise for the drinks and the fish dishes as well as the bark stew! our server was also wonderful. probably that they have to order their food separately at the desk, but not a big thing.
