Bowles Burritos - Kailua

Amazing food. Super cool staff was very friendly and helpful explaining the menu and ordering process, which made it very easy to order. Huge portions. Can get a little pricey if you start adding extras, but the menu is very transparent with theadditional costs, and again the top notch quality and flavor of the food makes it worth every penny. Great music, beach barvibes, open concept between bar side and restaurant side, big TVs to watch surfing and other sports, etc... Got the single stacknachos with carne asada and their pork verde wet burrito (burrito served on a plate with melted cheese and salsa verde ontop), and both were excellent. Make sure to try their creamy cilantro dressing (pictured on the nachos) they 'll let you sampleit on a tortilla chip. ????????

Just went tonight, and the whole experience was terrible. I told the guy black beans and rice and the music was so loud I said it three times. He still looked confused so I was looking back up at the sign like, they have this here right? When I ask if they can do beans and rice or if I have to pick one, because maybe thats the reason he seems confused and hasn 't put beans on my burrito he replys all condescending like I am wrong for asking. Then he finally gets that right and gives me the wrong type of pork, but it 's fine because I was debating which one to get anyway so I don 't say anything. Then I notice that everyone else is wearing gloves but he isn 't. I brush it off like maybe he cleaned his hands. Then I ask for everything except jalapenos and he gives me jalapenos. I didn 't see that and say, can I get the jalapenos on the side instead and he says, I already put them in and keeps making the burrito?? I just say okay, and then as I get my burrito he gets in trouble for not wearing gloves, but they still give me burrito?? I had to throw it away because I have issues with germs. Overall the burritos both the person I came with and myself got were extremely small and not worth the price. I didn 't eat mine so I can 't comment on flavor.

GREAT food! Very clean atmosphere and kind employees. It's like a subway but for tacos and burritos. The employee even gave us free dessert, just because : Highly recommend!!

Expensive and small portions, taste was on, but nothing crazy.

Great service, amazing food, tasty margs, and live music on a Tuesday. Will definitely be back! Don’t miss out on the key lime pie either.. so delicious.
