Lido Cafe & Bar - Kaleen

Lido café has been part of the Belconnen Mall for over 30 years. Always reliable; extensive menu of common Aussi style food. Not particularly cheap-but provides seniors discount. Tea bag tea disappointing. Service prompt and cheerful. Comfortable but on outlook.

Breakfast is the best time to eat here. Apart from the good menu and pleasant service the smell of the deep fry has not had time o ripen.linger and seep into your clothing. As i passed by yesterday i wondered why the kitchen exhaust was not on or a more powerful one installed by now. The food is very nice and im sure the oil is clean.This is such a great place to grab a good cuppa and a fresh cake but...

Second time back, Had the turkey, cranberry and brie roaste sandwich toasted with an iced coffee...delicious!

BEST coffee in Belconnen, lovely staff, always happy to help, always cheery, food is amazing, it is a regular on my list!

Have been here many, many times over the years and our lunch visit today prompted me to write a review. The place was busy, we noticed regulars, mums and bubs, pensioners and work people. This cafe caters to all ages and stages.We were seated to our table by a lovely young hostess and given our menus. Our order was taken and our meals delivered promptly. I had a fantastic bowl of creamy pasta (cabs for the month) and my husband had the beef nachos which he said was great. Our food was tasty and delivered promptly by engaging, nice staff.
