Going two more trips to try other things I saw people eating spring rolls standing up, rolled in lettuce leaves, multi beef pho, pork belly banh mi. Umm!Parking: Easy peasy, lots of slots available.Kid friendliness: Woman was there with twin babies! No problem. Lots of room for them in baby carriers on bench seating.
My boyfriend chosen this place and it was so good and fresh. I ordered the beef combo soup and it was so big! I took the other half to go for the next day. And plus we ordered cream cheese wonton. I highly recommend if you’re looking for good pho soup.
Phở broth was bland. The meetballs are clearly those low quality ones you find at Asian supermarkets. The salad rolls (gỏi cuốn) were huge but might be a bit much because it’s 90% veggies. No vermicelli noodles in the gỏi. Nước mắm dipping sauce is good but the peanut sauce is meh. Overall I don’t get these raving reviews. I’m Vietnamese and this is really mid. Maybe their rice dishes are better
I really was excited to try thus place. Always drove by, but never go the chance to go in. The ambiance is really cute and cozy. Perhaps it was a coffee shop before? But love the interior. We were craving Pho. For the price, not really impressed. We go the meat combo pho and the filet mignon pho. They were both $17.50 a bowl which is on the pricey side. BUT, the main issue was the broth. It was VERY bland.. I LOVE putting lots of Lime into my broth. Added about 4 lime, and my pho ended up tasting like hot water with lime.. luckily they had sriracha...They have an Extensive menu! Lots of other choices..Perhaps if I try here again, it would be sometime else, and not pho.Ps. We ended up going to Arby's next door!
The Sisters Cafe is a great spot to eat, especially when you're near Hollywood. My friend and I came here before going to a show at the Pantages Theater (which is so close to one another . The restaurant opens at 5pm for dinner and we got there right when they opened. We were treated with a warm smile and it was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. The waiter was very attentive, gave great recommendations, and friendly. The food here is delicious! We definitely ordered too much food but we were not expecting the plates to be so big. You definitely get a lot of food for what you pay for. The Thai Tea is so flavorful, definitely recommend! Some of the best appetizers are the edamame (which is seasoned to perfection and the wings! The pho is also delicious and perfect for the winter/fall weather. Great restaurant and a must try! :
