We ate at El Toreado for the first time today, and the food was absolutely outstanding! My husband and I shared the Molcajete and it was some of the best Mexican food we have ever eaten. We eat here often. Their dishes are based upon family recipes from grandmother and great grandmother who live in Mexico. I was eating my normal chile relleno dish a couple of weeks back two chiles with great sauce and cheese it was a late lunch and the owners were having their lunch. I asked what they were eating and it was enchiladas. The next time I had cheese and my wife had chicken enchiladas. You have a choice of red, green or mole sauce. The MOLE is OUTSTANDING. Grandmother’s recipe. I have eaten enchiladas most my life, even have my own family recipe. El Toreado is the best., even beats Red Iguana in SLC.
