Herberg De Bonte Os - Kampen

On March 27, I ate the tenderloin together with my grandson on the occasion of his birthday in De Bonte Os. I had fond memories of that in the past so expectations were high. But this time it was downright disappointing. The meat was served with a tiny bit of watery gravy that was gone in no time. See picture . The vegetables consisted of a few unimaginative and tasteless leaves of lettuce with a few equally tasteless baby potatoes that were called 'potato garnish ' on the menu. A white squeeze can of mayonnaise was added that wouldn 't have looked out of place in the first cafeteria. See picture . The whole thing made a very disinterested impression. This is not what you expect with a tenderloin of € 29.50! I made a complaint about this and was then scolded by the owner Michel ! . He was not willing to listen to what I wanted to say. I didn 't get a chance to utter a single sentence and he hung up in the middle of the 'conversation '. I have never experienced such rude customer service before. Response to owner 's deleted comment: Didn 't complain during dinner as it was my grandson 's birthday dinner.

Delicious food as always. Gluten free for the first time there. That was arranged perfectly. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free, they know what they are talking about. Was well arranged. We hadden haast. We moesten snel eten. Geen probleem! Dankzij het grappige en meedenkende personeel is alles goed verlopen. Het eten werd snel geserveerd en was heerlijk, met korte handen! De volgende keer komen we zeker terug.

Ik heb een heerlijk diner gehad. Perfecte carpaccio, precies goed! Ik hou van de malse ossenhaas en de boerfrietjes. Het dessert was fantastisch. Vriendelijke en uitstekende service. Echt een top restaurant!

Bavette met Indonesische saus is een aanrader... Perfect bereid. Complimenten voor Thijs! Fijne, snelle en vriendelijke bediening. Goede wijn!
