Rega Guesthouse - Kampot

The good: very nice restaurant with terrace and garden-like backyard to sit. the bad thing: the sleeping rooms looked pretty messy when I checked in and even the day after. I was offered a bed with smelling and stainy leaves. there was no toilet paper and soap. the location is a little closer to the bus stop, but still in 3 km distance from the beach. there is nothing of a social life around the guesthouse and there is no “hot-spirit”. the fans in the dormitory are very loud. Unfortunately, the administration seems to pay attention only to the restaurant and the private rooms. Conclusion: I wouldn't stay there again, but it was ok for a night.

Everything was fine. I can handdle the old smells from wood in dorm. but just don't book any transportation at here.

The room is not so clean. The owner is really strict, but I think it is good.

The setting is nice: tables and chairs in a small garden in the middle. However, the bed is cheap and hard; the towels are old and dirty; the plumbing is terrible: you will smell the sewage each time you need to use the toilette sink or bowl. I almost threw up each time I had to use the toilette. Let's hope the people managing this place will make changes if they want more business.

The staff could be more attentive for cleaning the rooms. Also I was very unpleasantly surprised as somebody took my motorbike helmet which I left together with my luggage in the locked room for baggage. The staff was indifferent and said they cannot do a thing about my missing helmet. Everything there is overpriced.
