Alvicolo Hawaii - KAMUELA

This meal was spectacular. eating in al vicolo is a few of the best Italian food I ever had, and I am originally from the opposite of philadelphia, where it is hard to beat. my father, who eats in an Italian restaurant several days the week on the mainland in philly, said that his spaghetti was the perfectly boiled pasta he had ever. high lob! I had the Auberginen-Pamigiano special and it was excellent. dad had a pasta dish (I forget what.) my fiancé had a pizza crispy and beautiful. he said it was delicious. Eat them here, eat them here.

There are approximately 20 tables in this cute little restaurant. There were only three of them occupied including us. The server was delightful but only one of her. My son and my husband received their entrées and completely ate them before I received my salad and my entrée at the same time. They sat and waited for me to finish eating for a half an hour. We weren’t in a hurry, but the timing was just not pleasant. The server offered no explanation or apologies. This place is Not inexpensive so our expectations were higher than what we received. I don’t think we will try it again.

Amazing authentic Italian food, great wine, friendly service, nice atmosphere. We will be going back!

Unfortunately, we didn’t have a good experience. This was the first time trying the restaurant and they were apparently very understaffed . We only received two of four items ordered. No service, really. We had to go search out someone to ask about our order. The pizza that did come to the table after about 45 mins of waiting was really good. The menu is very pricey considering it’s not in the resorts . The owner never came out to apologize but did so in a response on another feedback site.

Everything is so nice. Especially Mix plate is so good value, it is enough appetizers for drinking wine.
