Located on the Leeward side, near the Times Supermarket and Goodyear service center. PARKINGIt can get a little crowded for parking here, especially at dinner time so come early! RESTAURANTThe place is somewhat dim, but is always very clean. Orders can pile up sometimes. I've seen dozens of take out orders at the pass so Kizuna is a very popular place. Food is excellent. The sashimi is fresh and cuts are nicely portioned! The sushi rolls seem to be the most popular dishes to come out of the kitchen. Personally, I had the katsu donburi and it was super filling! Had to take it home. Beer selection is decent. Few domestic beers and a few japanese beers as well. We had a couple orders of sake too. SERVICEOur orders were taken pretty quickly. We sat at the bar and within a couple minutes, the server asked for our drink order and we got it within a few minutes. Our food order was taken shortly after and food arrived promptly. Servers were really nice. I'd recommend calling in for reservations as they can get super busy for walk ins. Great for big groups and recommended for sure!!
Kizuna Japanese Restaurant in Kaneohe, Hawaii, is a true gem for sushi enthusiasts. The standout feature for me was the impeccable texture of their rice, perfectly al dente, just as I prefer it. The deluxe sashimi platter, served Omakase style and accompanied by a bowl of rice, offers exceptional value for money. It's a culinary experience that combines precision and taste, making Kizuna a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Japanese flavors in paradise.
I came here with my husband Sunday night after work. It was crazy slammed around 6:20pm. Thankfully we got a seat at the bar within 5 minutes. I don't know if they take reservations, but if they do I'd recommend them! There were a lot of large groups eating there and I see why! The food was spectacular! I got the yellowtail hamachi pupu and I wanted to die and go to food heaven with the first bite. These were nice cuts and thick too. I also got the shrimp teriyaki sizzling platter (yummy) and a lobster specialty sushi roll. My husband got a lovely dinner bento style box with miso butter fish (watch for bones my friends) and the oyster and gyoza pupus. It was fabulous and our service from the bar was friendly and on point. No mistakes, just fast and courteous attention to detail. The bathrooms were also clean and the atmosphere was great. My new favorite Japanese restaurant on the Windward side! I'd 100000% come here again.
Super fresh sushi! We have tried 5 different rolls chef’s specials and all were delicious! We really enjoyed our food! Highly recommended!
