Írjon visszajelzéstMy family and I were at Kansas City Airport last night, preparing for an early morning flight the next day. We were a bit worried about the food options available on a Sunday evening, but we discovered this charming BBQ spot just a short walk from our hotel in an industrial area, and it did not disappoint. The burnt ends were absolutely delicious, along with the baked beans and cheesecake. I also loved their BBQ sauce. To top off our dinner, we indulged in a toffee-infused chocolate chip cookie that was simply heavenly.
I ordered the four-rib and burnt end plate, and for sides, I chose baked beans and potato salad. The burnt ends and baked beans were the best I've had anywhere, and the ribs easily rank in my top three. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. If you're looking to sample Kansas City's barbecue, this restaurant offers some of the finest grilled dishes you'll ever taste.
We discovered this place while spending the night before our flight at Kansas Airport, and wow, it turned out to be one of the best finds ever! After sampling a variety of BBQ spots across the country, this restaurant is definitely a top contender. We indulged in their ribs and burnt ends, along with some fantastic homemade sides. The baked beans, cheesecakes, and potato salad were particularly memorable. Scott, the owner, was incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about the exceptional food his kitchen produces. We would happily go out of our way to return to Scott's place! Additionally, we were pleasantly surprised to learn that they serve breakfast as well. Although we haven't had a chance to try it yet, based on our dinner experience, we're confident it would be worth getting up early for!
If they want to make sure they come to the airport in time, but have some time to burn before they have to return their car, this is where they should spend this time! I didn't want to come here because of the place, because there are not many restaurants in this area. (5 minutes from the airport) it is one of the best places to stay that they can do when they come from or to the airport, and can be one of the best meals they have in kansas city. I could say how popular they were with the many natives that this would be a good choice. the ribs were delicious and fell from the bone, the sausage was tender and very tasteful, the rubber bean was excellent and the beans were delicious. many parking places, order them at the counter, then they grab one of the tables or one opposite seat inside, on the covered terrace or at the front on the outside tables.
Had Pulled Pork Sandwich that was loaded with the good stuff. Although it 's $11 for just the sandwich..consider an investment that 's going to pay your BBQ taste buds a nice dividend. Also had a cup of Turkey Sausage Gumbo which was downright delicious and a testament to someone in the kitchen who really knows how to combine taste and texture. Next time I 'm have the bowl. A Take Away order of Tacos turned out to be another delicious surprise..Burnt Ends, Fish and Shrimp still not sure which one was my favorite.. Maybe all of them. The Trio selection from about $11 is a bargain depending on which ones you choose but hard to go wrong with your selection.
