Írjon visszajelzéstFirst time coming by to this little alley. This is no way an attraction or exhibit. It's literally just an alley full of rusty beer caps that have a strong odor of 115 degree old beer and urine lol. There's probably some history and/or years on making this walkway. I don't recommend that you walk through this alley unless you absolutely have to, like you're being chased by a serial killer or pervert. Oh, and if you do decide to walk through it, please wear shoes otherwise, your chances of getting tetanus is pretty high lol. Don't get me wrong, it's still cool to look at it, but I wouldn't make a special trip out here just for this unless you so happen to be in the area like at the many bars that they have here. Paid parking or limited free parking is available.
Make sure you have your tetanus shots up to date! Wear closed-toe shoes. This unremarkable alleyway has been made more special by dumping bottle caps into it. It's kind of a shame, you can tell that the bottles from the bottle caps weren't consumed in this alleyway, since it's kinda dark, with no music. Instead, I believe the beers were all drank in the Dixie Chicken next door. You kinda feel like Scrooge McDuck diving in all the coins when walking through here. You can just imagine the gallons and gallons of beer that have washed through Aggieland. This gives you some perspective on beer. I wouldn't go out of my way to hang out here. San Antonio has La Tuna with the same deal- bottle caps on the ground. Go next door to the Dixie Chicken if you're looking for a good time. They'll even remove the bottle cap from your bottle for you.
Was in Greenville Tx, thought I would try them out. Order the lemon pepper wings. They were cooked to perfection nice and plump and seasoned right. While the food was good not so much for the staff. The cook while waiting for orders stood at the front counter falling asleep for a good ten minutes, literally leaning against a metal rack nodding off. The girls running around seem more concerned about being social and checking out their phones the whole time. I would come back for the food.
Tetnus shot? Check. Okay so now I guess it's safe to go here. All jokes aside, this is a great This is an alley covered with bottle caps. Yes, those metal thinks you take off glass bottles of soda, beer, or any other beverage. It's an interesting alley in the middle of North gate. Why it's there? Nobody knows. I heard through the grapevine that come of the corp students have to come here and collect bottle caps for their spurs. This is one of those things you probably will want to stop by and check out while you're near Northgate, but please don't waste your time and drive across town to see it. The only downside is the crazy amount of puke that dries up here and no body cleans it up.
Thirty years (more or less) ago I moved from West Virginia to College Station. Suffering culture shock one evening, I discovered bottle cap alley. Yes, mostly Pearl and Shiner Bock, but a thick bed of caps popped for thirsty Aggies. I was amazed and delighted. I 'm working on my California alley, but any visit to C.S. would not be complete. I 'd imagine a good number of engineering students have tried to work out a count. Has a lovely metal crunch as you stroll through. Gig 'em!
