An amazing selection of food and drink. We were five persons and we all had different food (soup, salad, pasta (which was a sort of surprise), Flammkuchen and burger) and we were very happy. One of us ordered a surprise pan of food at great value for money - you don't know what you get but as some of my friends are regulars they recommended it. Chef decides at the point of order, what the kitchen has to offer and puts something together. Not for the picky eater like myself but great if you like any kind of pub food. With the drinks you are spoilt for choice. They have craft beers, local produce, a very good gin and whisky list but also a lot of non alcoholic drinks…. The waiter was very friendly and not always attentive but we found out that they had a dance event on that evening due to the Christmas market. So staff were busy rearranging furniture on the second storey and then around us. We were university friends trying to catch up and had we known we would have chosen a different venue. It got very uncomfortable with all the moving of tables and chairs plus then people coming in to leave their coats at the "wardrobe" - a table set up in the middle of room just behind us. So people kept bumping into my friend's chair. Plus they put up the volume, so we then left as we felt screaming at each other was not the way to go. This is the only reason I am not giving them the excellent blob!
