Agave Rio - Katy

My family and I decided to dine at this restaurant for Easter. We were disappointed to find that there was only one Omelette station, which could only prepare one omelette at a time for all the guests. The Omelette cook admitted that he had never made an omelette before that day. This resulted in an extremely long wait for omelettes. Additionally, the brisket was dry and there were frequent shortages of food on the buffet line. The tortillas for the make-your-own fajita section were not restocked in a timely manner, and both the beef and chicken for the fajitas were cold and dry. For the price of $35 per person, we expected a much better dining experience. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I had a wonderful experience dining with friends at this restaurant. Our table was prepared upon our arrival and they provided heaters to keep us warm as the temperature dropped.

We have been coming here for three years and always have a great experience. We feel like family.

Food was good, but it took over an hour to get our food. The music was very nice, but it was a little loud.

If there was Zero stars I would absolutely rated it that way... I been living in the area for a long time and always though about this place and to our surprise it was a nightmare. First, the hostess couldn’t found the reservation that I made thru OT. Second, the server took so much time to deliver everything, the drinks, the appetizers, the food, everything... My wife asked for a Martini called “Fancy pants” and it was like drinking a smoothie! I ordered a Mojito, simple drinks and I was shocked with the lack of understanding as to how to make a simple so simple drink!!! So sad since this place has an excellent location and ambiance, it reminds me of the Town ofTequila in Mexico, where you can eat in an Hacienda style setting...Soooo disappointing!!!!
