Hasta La Pasta - Katy

Just passed and decided to try. A disappointing place in a Kroger Strip Mall. I tried the other Italian place a few doors down and it was not worth trying. But Hasta La Pasta was excellent! Order at the counter and bring your food to you. The Rapalla was delicious. Unlike goat cheese, but adds a nice turn. Very fast service and friendly staff. Come on!

Outstanding food and service- gluten free options to boot. We picked this place out of the hat on the Find Me Gluten Free App after a night out and this place rocks. We started with salads (gluten free modified), and while they don’t have GF bread- our companions said it was good. Had the Brussel sprouts as a starter. Dinner came out on large plates and it looked wonderful. The first bites told us we made the right call. Between the gluten free penne with Alfredo sauce and chicken and the gluten free pizza it’s become our local Italian go-to when we are in the area. Our dining companions had the regular pasta options and said theirs were delicious. Portions were good and we ended up with some take-away for tomorrow which is good. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable- we took recommendations and were happy with the choices. Spacious dining area, a full bar, friendly staff, good prices, endless fountain drinks, and absolutely awesome food. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. Handicap accessible parking, dining room, and restrooms. Definitely going to be back here again and hopefully soon.

Service was great. Clean. Tasted authentic. Mahi Mahi was slightly over cooked but fine truly. I’ll be back!

I dined here for the first time and found it to be a busy night, with a unique ordering system. You place your order at the counter, and your food is brought out to you when it’s ready. It reminded me a bit of the LA Madeleine restaurants, but I believe they usually have traditional waitstaff on quieter nights. Despite the different service model, the staff was friendly, and the food was excellent. Everything was served hot and fresh, and the portions were generous.

We had a fantastic birthday party here on Saturday. While many of the employees are new, they are incredibly enthusiastic, and the experienced staff does a great job of keeping everything running smoothly. The kitchen staff is excellent! I can't recommend this place enough.
