Írjon visszajelzéstFood is pretty good, not very oily and smells really good, Anyone who hasn’t been here should try the Galbi flavor on the chicken! This was a recommendation from our server David, he was very helpful and nice to us every time! However there’s something i don’t like about this place. you can hear the kitchen staff blasting hispanic music you can barely hear the restaurant music. it’s a little annoying for me coming from a Korean restaurant. Everything else was fine ?
Got the kimchi and bulgogi fries. The fries were very yummy. My kinda got plain tenders and fries along with a chicken sandwich and fries. Didn't get a pic of those items. My oldest did love the chicken sandwich. I was greeted upon entering the restaurant. My first time here and didn't know if we should order and have a seat. But when I asked the young lady behind the counter said we could have a seat and she would come and take our order. Very small restaurant. They sell beer and fountain drinks. They have a couple of booths that are covered on the left side as you enter. I would like to come back and try the sauced wings.
I was kind of relieved to see that others mentioned something changed with the chicken. We 've been eating here for 5 years, even just a month or so ago. Wife got the sweet and spicy as well as soy garlic fried chicken. Neither tasted right, but especially the sweet and spicy. I don 't know if they 're trying a new recipe, or switched suppliers, but it did not taste at all the same. It tastes more like they dumped a ton of soy and hoisin sauce on it, while just mixing in some of their powdered hot seasoning. Its not even the same color, its a dark brown color instead of the usual red. I hope it 's a one off, but it made us not want to order anymore to find out.
Let me start off by saying that I used to love hoodadak, I come here about every 1-2 months and order takeout, and it's super delicious. I usually order the hot wings and they always have a lot of spice on them! but now they are putting little to no spice at all.. on the chicken it's not even hot. It's like they're running out of it or something. Each time I go it becomes less and less hot. I've also noticed that there's not a lot of chicken on it. Anyways, you would think for the expensive price we are paying it would be worth it.
My extended family and I went to Hoodadak recently, and it was just an ok experience. The food was alright crispy deep fried chicken with a good variety of sauces, fries were seasoned pretty heavily, overpriced sides (pickled radishes and cole slaw), and drinks are reasonably priced, especially during happy hour. However, the wait staff seems inexperienced, especially to cater to a large group. The restaurant wasn 't extremely busy when we were there, but it seemed to take a long time to receive our food and beer. They didn 't even know how to dispense the draft beer properly in a cup. While they were fulfilling our order, another customer came in to order, and she waited nearly an hour for food because they forgot to put her order in! We felt so bad for her that we actually gave her some of our food to eat while she waited. I don 't even think they compensated her for anything. The restaurant was in such disarray that the manager/owner himself walked out during service! He just left his inexperienced employees behind, but I will say that these boys who served us were so nice and were doing the best they could. Would I go back? I wouldn 't go out of my way, but perhaps if I was in the area, take out or delivery is probably the better option. They are definitely not set up to cater to a large group of more than 10 people.
