The Federal Grill Katy

We have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while so tonight we did for a early birthday dinner on a Tuesday evening it wasn't busy so we figured we would get fast service but that was not the case we arrived at 6:20pm we didn't leave until 8:25 not because we wanted to but because our waiter took so long bringing our drinks then appetizers then our main courses the food and drinks were good but not for the price, too much ice in the drinks I figured to make it look like your getting more drink than you really are and their bread pudding was awful that was not bread pudding it was a chocolate cinnamon mush with caramel don't think it was worth 250 for 3 people. We don't mind paying for great food drinks but there needs to be great service as well. So disappointed with this restaurant I really wanted to like it because it is so close to home.

I didn't know this place existed until a colleague invited here for lunch. My burger was excellent. The staff was very attentive. Well worth the trip!

Loved the service. Everyone was very friendly and got us what we needed. Waitress was excellent! Food was good. Was upset that there was no longer Asparagus on the menu but it was good overall.

I won’t come here again. I ordered meatballs with mashed potatoes. Cut into a meatball, it was cold, mushy, and raw in the middle. To top it off, a bug crawled out of the meatball. I’m so disgusted. This is just downright deplorable.

Every dish we got here was phenomenal, starting with the complementary biscuits. If you are into whiskey they have 300 varieties. Great service too, very friendly team.
