The Local Katy

Longtime fans from The Local Bar here in Katy, but they are more than fresh, pressed juices and handmade spirits, their tapas are absolutely delicious. So make sure you have a goat cheese with Brussels sprouts pizza or the jalapeño hummus y?all these never disappointed. It's worth noting that I didn't think I liked goat cheese until I tried tonight and my goodness this the only way I like my pizza from now on on. So seriously, a must try!!!! Their happy hour drink specialties are fantastic even on Fridays, so we can flick Friyay with amazing people, super awesome live music, chill ambiance and black cherry and white claws, so no excuses stop by.

Service, food and drinks are excellent!!! This place is a great place to meet someone for drinks, a little nibble or a full blown meal. We sat on the patio which which was covered and had ceiling fans to keep us cool even on a hot evening. The happy hour had many specials on appetizers and drinks which apparently change daily. The beer selection included domestic, import and local craft on tap. Lot's of parking with a parking garage near by so even on busy days and times it shouldn't be an issue. Would highly recommend.

Went to the Social and they don't have a kitchen. Didn't know that as I had just got finished looking at their menu online. So I just scooted over to the The Local Bar Katy. Man I am SO glad the Social didn't have food. The patio is awesome. I sat out side, enjoyed the fountain and got some work done. Very peaceful. Tyler was my server and he was laid back, genuine, and gave perfect service (and I was in the restaurant business for a long time). Went with the goat cheese burger and it was delicious. If it looks under cooked that's because I ordered it that way and they cooked to my temperature. I'll definitely be back!

They have really delicious cocktails here. The place is chic and the atmosphere here is lovely for a nice night out or just to grab some drinks and chill. They have terrace sitting which are smoke free. Best part is the service here is awesome!!
