Cupcasions - Kelowna

While the cupcakes were ready on time they were much smaller than anticipated which changed the cost from being reasonable to not.A few weeks prior there was a change to the quantity and it certainly took more effort and time to get the invoice credited and still while picking them up there was question as to why the delivery charge was still showing.They were good, but certainly not great. Definitely expected better from a company that specializes in their product.

I had a hankering for a sweet little treat and I knew Cupcasions was the place to go! I love their new location and that they serve coffee now! Adding a cafe to the already adorable bakery was a great idea and now I can sit and relax with a drink and my dessert. Whether I'm planning a party or just treating myself, I love their bakery. They have so many options of cupcakes to choose from! They even accommodate allergies and dietary preferences. I have a lot of allergies so that was great news. The staff are so friendly and accommodating! It's like visiting friends every time I stop in! Best place in town for cupcakes. And if you want, they will put sparkles on everything.

I have been here a few times, but my most memorable experience was my first visit. I had heard that they had some interesting flavors and decided to finally check it out with a friend. We checked their hours on Google, but it must have been user-submitted as we arrived about 30 minutes before it stated they were set to close and were disappointed to see they already had their 'Closed' sign up. However, we were still greeted by a friendly girl at the counter who let us inside. She advised that they had already closed up their til so they were unable to sell us anything, but did offer us a sample since they would be getting rid of them one way or another regardless. We came back and bought half a dozen and they were all fantastic. I also appreciate that although they were closed, when we explained the situation, they made every effort possible to ensure that we would return - which is probably the only reason that we did since their hours are a bit limited.

I recently used a Groupon to try these cupcakes which look great in picture online. Very disappointed indeed. We had the mini cupcakes which were a whopping $1.90 each and consisted of a dry tasteless bottom with a flavourless icing. A Duncan Hines cake mix has more flavour and costs 1/10th the cost and you get twice the cupcakes. (And they are full size)

Popped in so many times and always had fresh tasty cupcakes. Variety was excellent and flavors delightful! Had an iced coffee and was a perfect addition to my strawberry lemonade cupcake!
