Maharajas Kitchen Indian Restaurant

As a vegan who loves Indian cuisine, I am thrilled to have discovered this amazing Indian restaurant so close to where I live. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely delicious.

This is a small restaurant tucked away behind the Macleay Hotel in Smith St, Kempsey. I have only been there at night time & they do not stay open till late so best be early in to enjoy a taste of Indian cuisine. Some of my friends are vegetarians so the chefs will recommend a selection of dishes for them. You can order takeaway as well. Meals are well priced.

By far the best Indian I've ever had, come here all the time never disappoints!!! Look forward to our next visit!

Worst Indian I have ever eaten!!! We regularly eat here, however after tonight's experience I won't ever spend another cent here. The food was completely unpalatable literally 3 pieces of meat and nann that were burnt when called to let them know what had happened staff were rude and dismissive no compensation or actual apology! Actually I'm pretty sure they hung up on me Disappointed in not only the dish but the businesses response. Whatever's gone wrong down there has lost you a regular customer.

The restaurant serves delicious meals either to dine in or for take-away customers. It is located next to the Macleay Hotel. The chef is very knowledgeable and happy to share information with customers. Vegetarian and vegan options are available upon request. Most of the food is made on-site and the Naan bread is especially delicious.
