They are currently renovating the lower part of the restaurant, so we ate above that had a beautiful view of the water and the lighthouse on Goat Island. Order: Clam Chowder $9 good portion, made me satisfied full, many shells not too creamy, loved that it didn't love a thick consistency Chowder Onion Strings $11 as it was thin it was so delicious that I didn't really get the bbq sauce it came with NO military discount
This is the coolest and most picturesque tavern pub off the beaten path in all of New England! The service is excellent, and the food is fantastic, all accompanied by stunning views of Cape Porpoise, ME. What a hidden gem! Be sure to try our favorite dish, which we call the "Bad Man Surf N’ Turf" – a delicious hamburger served with steamed mussels. Soooo good!!!!
We stumbled upon this gem while taking a walk and had a wonderful time sitting outside by the water. We tried several different beers, some cocktails, and a variety of dishes from the happy hour menu. Everything was great! By the time we finished, the place was quite busy, and it looked like we might have to wait for a spot outside or at the bar. However, we would definitely be willing to wait next time!
My friend and I discovered this gem of a pub while exploring Kennebunkport, and we instantly fell in love with it. The chowder is fantastic, the Bloody Marys are superb, and the atmosphere is absolutely delightful! We will definitely be back this summer.
