Cedars at Pier One - Kennewick

The waitress did not bring back my change, she kept it! I never told her to keep the change, but she did anyway. We were in a hurry, so I did not address her or scold her. That is rude and stealing.

Great view and great service. Food and deserts were awesome. Filet Mingnon,Halibut very flavorful. We will be back. Stephanie our waitress remembered us from our last visit about 9 months ago.

Been waiting for a year to try Cedars and came away disappointed. We arrived just after 6pm on a Friday night....and there were maybe 8 tables with patrons. Put in our order of crabcakes for an appetizer....my girlfriend ordered a salad and I opted for the ribeye. Our crabcakes arrived at 630pm and were good but not hot. They'd obviously been sitting on the counter for a while before being served The restaurant started to fill up gradually by 645pm. Finally at 715pm we were served our entrees. My girlfriends salad was very good....but my $55 ribeye had as much fat as it did meat and was closer to rare than the medium I requested. The baked potato wasn't hot...again served warm like the crabcakes. I ate the potato but couldn't eat the steak. Our server was very apologetic and didn't charge us for the steak. We will go back and try Cedars again....but I would caution folks to stay away from the steaks.

Horrible service in terms of wait time. We had to wait 1+ hour for our order. Never knew it would take so long when we ordered. When enquired about the wait time, the answer was...Other people are waiting for more than that (not in a rude tone but picturing the reality). Also, the restaurant was 25% occupied is an impression we got visually. We were offered additional drinks and was apologized for the Delay but personally not recommending for sure as no matter how good the food was, i wouldn't want to go to a place which has such a long unannounced wait time after placing the food order.Edits made to the review to highlight specific points.

Went on an adventure and decided to check this place out and it was really good. It's on Clover Island on the Columbia River with a beautiful view of the river. The service was great and so was the food. I would definitely recommend checking it out for yourself sometime.
