Aki Sushi - Kennewick

Outstanding sushi for such a small town! The food is fresh, and the menu offers a great variety.

Food - amazing! I only go for the raw fish options, and I can confidently recommend this place. They really know their craft. Service - excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, making genuine eye contact and showing genuine appreciation for your business. Atmosphere - great. The lo-fi lounge music sets the perfect mood and matches the decor nicely. Be sure to try the Miyabi with spicy tuna; it's always a hit!

Aki may not rival the sushi experiences found in NYC, LA, or Vegas, but it is certainly the best option in the Tri-Cities. I’ve sampled about 90% of the top-rated local sushi spots, and without a doubt, Aki offers the freshest and most varied selection of raw fish in the area. I’ve been a loyal customer since it opened and have tried other restaurants just to explore, but I always find myself coming back to Aki. The service can vary from excellent to somewhat lacking, mainly due to newer staff members. I understand that Aki isn’t entirely at fault; the entire service industry has struggled since COVID, making it challenging to find waitstaff who will remain long enough to gain experience and view it as a career. That said, I have never had a negative experience with the staff here. I highly recommend this restaurant.
