Arrogant sports bar and a drive through liquor store in the back. They didn't even want to put on the NBA playoff game the other night and just had a baseball game and hockey playoffs involving New York and a Canadian club. Nothing to special on this except for fact you can look out and watch speeding traffic go real fast. Something you can never really see out in Illinois area bars and what you always see is parking spaces. Not a bad bar but bad service. Don't know why they have a drive thru for beer.

Just saying the owners are complete sweethearts and they care about their patrons . This place is amazing!

When I stopped at this bar I thought it was called The House ? I was working across the street so I stopped in for lunch. First I went to the bartender to order food right away; quite simple just a burger and fries. The bartender literally asked me to repeat what I would like on it 5 times just ketchup and onion). Unfortunately I ordered food before I went to the bathroom....this was literally the most filthy bathroom I have ever seen in my life! There was a tampon applicator just laying on the floor behind the door and more dirt and the debris on the floor than I would accumulate in my bathroom if I didn 't sweep or wash in probably 2 years. Not to mention it door to the tiny bathroom stall was ready to pull right out of the wall. Since I had already ordered and paid and I was very hungry) I waited for my order. Even after telling the bartender/cook what I wanted so many times I had the completely wrong toppings. That I can live with; I really am not a very picky person. The burger was very large and the price for burger and fries was a good deal at $5.00. However, the meat was very soft and I would assume the absolutely lowest quality the local Sysco distributes. Also the fries tasted like the smell of cow manure. I wouldn 't doubt if the fry oil was about a month past its life. Taking in and observing the scenery the walls and floors of the bar were also very dirty. When I left there were two bartenders I had to walk right past to leave...not one of them said have a good day or thanks for stopping . I thought that was rude and bad customer service also. Especially since I left a good tip when I initially came in and paid for everything I have worked many years in the service industry). Overall; I wouldn 't doubt if this is a great college weekend hangout spot...but as far as quality food, quality service, or cleanliness it was a terrible place.
