Pita Pit - Kent

Today, we took our daughter to the restaurant for lunch in between her classes at Kent. She ordered the chicken pesto combo, my wife had the Thai chicken combo, and I chose the Philly combo.

The food is average. The service is welcoming. My children adore this place. I personally think it is just okay. However, I found the prices to be high considering the portion sizes.

Inconsistent experience at this restaurant. Topping portions vary each time, and as of today, quinoa rice bowls have been reduced to the size of a small salad for the same price of $9.25. Often, toppings are missing or incorrect. It is frustrating to have to call the restaurant to correct mistakes with every order. While DoorDash's app works well, the Pita Pit's ordering system and staff are questionable. Unless speaking to a manager, it is difficult to trust them. The portion size of the new Ode to Athens bowl is the same as a small salad. The receipt in the third image shows missing items like carrots. There are a lot of inconsistencies here.

KSU grad here. I had to drive through Kent for work, and decided to take a trip down memory lane. I ate here consistently for my entire undergrad. My trip today did not disappoint. I was hit with memories galore, the guy who made my pita, Devon, was awesome and it is DELICIOUS. Can’t wait to be in the area again. Love Pita Pit forever.
