Great service with beautiful smiles. Many varieties and Hill Country Specials. Eating is good. The view from the terrace is one of the best in Kerrville.

Home Cookin' with a View. This is a popular restaurant with locals, and those who are first-timers will find the location is quite nice. It overlooks the beautiful Guadalupe River, so try and ask for a window table. It is a nice and cheery eatery, open for lunch and dinners. You'll find lots of sandwiches, salads, soups for lunch and good assortment of steaks, chops, ribs and more for dinner. Great sides of fresh vegetables. Homemade desserts. Good prices and very good portions. Waitstaff is quite friendly. The owners care about their patrons and it shows.

Came here for a weekday dinner on a recommendation from a friend and we weren’t disappointed! Want a great appetizer?, get the tator kegs, they are killer! I had blackened salmon, rice, and onion rings and they were all delicious! Wife had fried pork chop and baked potato and they were excellent! Now for the service: we were promptly greeted and seated. Our waiter was Alejandro and he was great! He was pleasant, informative, and energetic! My recommendation is to go here for any meal, you will be pleased!

I really enjoyed the view from the porch here. We were visited by lots of wildlife during our meal, about 2 dozen hummingbirds, a lot of butterflies and other birds in the distace, even a stay cat walked by the river. The food paired nicely with the view. My patty melt came with bacon, which was a new one for me and a great surprise. It seemed that the restaurant favorite was the chicken fried steak. Very big portions and family friendly. Easy to spot off the main road and plenty of parking.
