Francisco's - Kerrville

Francisco's is a charming restaurant, but I was quite disappointed with my lunch. I'm a fan of chicken salad and usually order it whenever I see it on a menu. So, I chose that for my meal at Francisco's. To my surprise, the first bite had a slight kick to it. I didn’t think much of it at first, but after another bite, it was so spicy that I had to push my plate away and couldn't finish it. When I asked the waiter about it, he informed me that there were diced jalapeños in the salad. However, the menu didn’t mention jalapeños as an ingredient, or I certainly wouldn’t have ordered it. While I appreciate the chef's attempt to put a unique twist on chicken salad, it’s essential to inform diners about such surprising ingredients!
