We enjoyed our first visit in early June and loved how we were treated; the view from our table, service and the food were all wonderful. The bartender went the extra mile, learning how to make a fab Sidecar cocktail for me. Their deep fried apps (onion petals, cheese curds and pickles) were tasty. The Konigsberger Klopse meatballs in white sauce with capers and spaetzle were delicious as were the Rouladen and potato dumplings! Lava cake with Door County cherries and creme brulee were a treat, too! Highly recommend Gib's On the Lake!

The pretzel pork chop was the driest piece of pork I have ever eaten. The pretzel breading was burned. I can't imagine any chef sending that out to a customer in a reputable restaurant. We will never eat there again.

Great service at the bar and drinks . Food was amazing ! Our server was ok but almost done eating before checked on us . Would definitely go back for food and drinks .

This place is a NE Wisconsin gem. We started with cocktails. Our Old Fashioneds were muddled and were the best tasting ones I have had in a while. The day was mostly clear. The view over the lake was beautiful. The menu has a good variety of entrees to select from. We went with German tonight. The spaetzle was great! (We took a side order home with us). It’s about a hours drive to get there from the Valley. You can take country roads all the way there it’s a beautiful ride. We will definitely be returning. It was worth every penny spent.
