Buckley's - Killarney

We stayed at the Arbutus hotel in October of 2022 as part of a Costco vacation package. Our stay was just okay. The hotel is an old bed and breakfast style place. The decor seemed outdated too. While that may be part of the charm, it’s just not our style. It was difficult to find at first and there was no parking on site. The breakfast was decent and the staff was friendly.

Centrally located, easy walking distance to the main food and shopping spots. Also, did the ring of Kerry.

Went on a day trip to Killarney because Dublin train prices were so expensive. Had breakfast in here before we explored and it was lovely and reasonable. Lads sitting at the counter drinking pints and whisky chasers, in the morning hahaha! Typical Ireland on a Sunday morning, lads out for the cure. Lovely looking bar and hotel.

Realy enjoyed our stay.staff most helpful and friendly. food was of high standard. Room was spotless clean. very comfortably bed. Parking is across the street 3 euro per day.

We had an amazing experience with our stay at Arbutus Hotel. Michelle was very welcoming and the staff was very accommodating to our needs. We did just come from Cork just to realize we left our meds at the hotel. Michelle and her colleague went above and beyond to see if anyone they knew was coming from Cork and heading to Killarney to bring meds to us to save us from back tracking. Unfortunately they had no luck but it was the thought and efforts which they didn't have to do. That to us meant a lot who does that nowadays. Michelle was wonderful!
