Írjon visszajelzéstThis place was recommended to us and I saw the amazing reviews on TripAdvisor. We've been eating amazing food in Castletownbere all week so said we'd try this for a change extremely disappointing service dreadful and food was poor. Mussels had no seasoning or even a bit of parsley. Chips with main were frozen and lukewarm, no dressing on salad. Husband queued for around 20 min to place order and get drinks. Wine not available by glass served those toxic twist cap single serve bottles. The place was mobbed and no staff to serve drinks inside and the staff outside weren't allowed take drink orders. Scenery was amazing and weather beautiful. Only plus to the food was the price.
Typical country pub in an isolated village on the Beara peninsula. Good beer and sometimes good food. We had salmon hat was a bit dry but the prawn cocktail entree was fabulous. Prices were excellent however and service great.
This restaurant is located in a beautiful and peaceful spot on a secluded coast. The tables are situated on the quay during the summer and autumn seasons. The cozy pub serves top-notch seafood dishes in a simple and charming manner. The crab sandwiches are generously filled and incredibly fresh. Observing other tables, the monkfish and haddock goujons appeared incredibly delicious. While the service may not be the most polished, this remote Irish inn provided us with one of the best, freshest, and most flavorful meals we've had in all of Ireland....and the Guinness is excellent!
Great atmosphere lovely food exquisite views friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere. Our second visit and didn’t disappoint
The hottest September Sunday and we rocked up here … parked our VW van in the carpark and found a table on the pier. The place was going like a fair . Live music when we arrived and food served until about 9pm . The food was super fresh and tasty. The staff work very hard on what was a shift from hell busy .
