Rudy's Bbq - Killeen

We went here looking for good bbq. Keep in mind that we have no idea where to get well known Texas bbq. We recall my cousin took my parents and aunt/uncle to this place. So why not try it. We had no idea what to expect and how to buy. We ordered the Wet Brisket, potato salad and mash potatoes with gravy. After getting our order, we looked for a table and we unrolled enough butcher paper to cover our table. We have no idea how to eat. Some of us used the butcher paper like a plate and some of us ate from the containers the sides came in. I have to say the flavor of the wet brisket was absolutely delicious. I couldn't stop dreaming about it after coming home. It's so delicious! I want to go back again soon.

Great food. The sauce is amazing. The manager came around to ask if we needed anything and was very polite.

Literally saw the fattest COCKROACH I 've ever seen in my life at this restaurant. Asked a worker if he could kill it and with some attitude he did pick it up and throw it away. He didn 't seem surprised to see it, later on a manager asked how everything was and when we told him about it he just said oh okay and walked away. Oh and expect to pay $10 for 3-4 tiny ribs which was crazy. This was my family 's first and last time ever at a Rudy 's restaurant with the crazy prices and roach infested walls.

You can't find a better chain BBQ joint! Not the best you'll ever have but still pretty phenomenal. We have visited several times and it never disappoints. I usually the the lean brisket and my husband gets the moist and we typically split a jalapeño sausage. The meat is incredibly flavorful and tender. We also always get the potato salad every time we come, it is my favorite! The coleslaw and beans are also very good. Great quality for the price! The staff is always super sweet and ruining our most recent trip the manager was even out checking in on guests during dinner hours. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is the food is usually lukewarm if you don't get a fresh new slab. They also have military discount for service members and their families.

Pork ribs are to die for plus the pulled is on point along with the moist brisket. They have never let me down service is awesome always a smiling face and the atmosphere is just great with plenty of TVs to watch from sports to new or whatever is playing.
