The Capital Grille - King of Prussia

I scheduled a reservation for the Mrs birthday. From the start, she loved the entrace and the decor. We were seated, and the enjoyment of service with precision was by one of the best times we have ever had. To our server, Matt C, we enjoyed our time and appreciated everything you did to make her night special. She was smiling the whole time and the ride home. Let me just say that the food was phenomenal. The drinks steak were perfection, especially with Matt giving us details. To Capital Grille, keep up the hard work of the chefs and the dedication of such servers as Matt C. This man should be management on the premise of his attention to detail. Thank you for such a great time and memory, WE definitely will be back.

Frank was our server . We celebrated my aunties retirement with a lunch . he explained the menu and made her feel special . Ask for Frank when you go . it was a lovely dining experience . thank you

Everything here was fantastic, the steak was perfectly cooked, calamari was amazing, and the truffle fries were perfect as well. Even with everything being amazing, the real stand out was the cheesecake. It was almost like a creme brulee cheesecake. I'd definitely go back Parking: Free parking

Dined here last night for my birthday. Eating at restaurants can be difficult and depressing because I get very sick from dairy, and dairy products are in almost EVERYTHING on a dinner menu. I left a note ahead of time on Open Table so the restaurant was aware of my dairy intolerance in advance. Capital Grille had it handled and placed me with our server, Alycia, who understood my food intolerances well. (If you have food allergies/intolerances, ask for Alycia when you go!! From the presentation of the bottle of wine we picked, to making sure that my food didn't have any milk/cheese/butter in it, to having a special birthday dessert ready to go since I couldn't eat anything on the dessert menu, Alycia was spectacular! To Alycia and the staff at Capital Grille, thank you for making my birthday evening feel so special! I particularly appreciate the proactive nature to how you handled my visit! I will most certainly be back!

Overall, dining was a disappointment. For an upscale expensive restaurant, I expect more and The Capital Grille just did not deliver. Specifically, two at our table ordered steak yet no steak sauce of any kind was offered. My scallops with lobster asparagus risotto was underwhelming under seasoned. Frankly, I've made better scallops at home. The two small pieces of asparagus also looked lonely on the plate when I discovered them. Wine by the glass: why no menu for this? I'm merely asked Chardonnay, Pino , Riesling or Sauvignon Blanc. Really? What vineyards are you providing? While our server Dave was good, your support staff to him is in dire need of training. While the rest of the table had finished, I was still eating. Clearing plates while one person is eating is just rude. To make matters worse, they also cleared the bread basket, butter and MY bread plate which I was STILL USING. Have you never heard of waiting until everyone at the table is finished before you begin clearing? The message sent was that I should hurry up to accommodate the wait staff. It certainly ended the evening on a sour note.
