Reg's Fish Chips

Poor quality. Very small portions and no children's menu. We had fish and chips which we overcooked, chips were like bones and fish thick batter, again overcooked. Ate at 6.00pm so no excuse for not having freshly cooked food available. We put the lot in the bin!

A large chips £4 and it was an absolute joke of a portion! A small paper bag with small portion. Also the sausages are small and at £2.50 it's a joke. Avoid in my opinion and also the staff need to smile.

They fish in chips were awful. I took the chips back and asked them how many times they had been refried …. He told me he never refries them .. which I find is hard to believe . Expensive too , never offered to give a refund at all.. my family was most disappointed .

Well if you fancy being raped of your money perfect place to go… Chips were cooked at 11 for the 1.30pm rush that obviously never materialised… Small portions… would never visit again…

This place is incredibly expensive considering the portion sizes (especially for chips) are very small. £3 price of a regular portion gets you a small scoop. I know you’re expected to pay a premium at the seaside but given the meagre portions (not an exaggeration) I believe this is a little steep. Secondly, we saw the server about to put a sausage in a pack of chips that was for the vegetarian in our group and we were then told that the chips were all cooked in beef dripping and so they couldn’t eat the chips anyway. Checked and there was no signage warning of of this!
