Írjon visszajelzéstWe were disappointed with the main meal. the service was good. However, I think they should think about better refine dishes to match the location. It is too simple for dinner. I had chorizo monk fish came with chips , I would have it with pasta or rice with the lovely sauce. I want the restaurant to do well, but it has to be better.
Not easy to find at the end of an alley way but it is right on the river. As it was a Saturday we booked a table for the evening and on arrival were lucky enough to get a riverside view. Starters and mains had excellent choices and the serving staff were really friendly. Quality of the dishes was exceptional and prices reasonable. Would visit when next in Kings Lynn.
Hubby and I spotted the restaurant in the courtyard, lunch of omelette for both of us was delicious, and good pricing for the quality of food and service would definitely recommend
The Arbroath Smokie and the Brown Shrimp and Leek tart were the best dishes we had tasted and made our brief trip to King’s Lynn a memorable one! Thanks for your hospitality!
Whilst fully understanding the new normal for service in restaurants this place has done everything to reduce the health risk and nothing for the ambiance, menu content or advertising. For the price I would at least of expected a table cloth. The room resembled a deserted pub, although the pub we ate in the previous night didnt deliver the cutlery in a tin bucket. On the approach to the restaurant is a very nice and varied menu which matches the website. Imagine the dissapointment when presented with an understandably reduced but not thought through or balanced menu. 3 fish mains, a beef stir fry and a 1980's throwback of chicken Kiev. Should have gone to Iceland. At between £13.95 and £14.95 per dish one should rightly expect something more appatising. Regardless of what is going on in the world customers are still expecting value for money. This place is not. I would suggest putting in a bit of thought for the customer experience. On top of this, last orders are at 8pm. That's a very small service window and made us feel rushed. The staff were charming but it didn't make up for anything. Just paying lip service to a business does not bode well for its future.Having visited previously we don't see ourselves returning.
